Door contact switches are one of the types of limit switches, devices for closing and opening electrical circuits in automatic control systems for electric drives. At certain points of a given trajectory of movement, the movable element causes the closing or opening of the corresponding contacts of the limit switch. This provokes the appearance of electrical signals and activates the control devices of the automated electric drive.

The operation of a door contact switch

The MAXGEAR brand Switch, door contact is designed to record the facts of opening / closing doors in cars and vehicle trailers.
