The work conditions of the solenoid switch

The engine starts with turning on the ignition. If the car does not respond and is de-energized, and the battery is fully charged and the wiring is in working order, you should pay attention to the starter. A frequent breakdown in such situations is the failure of the starter retractor relay. It is it that is responsible for the connection of the bendix gears to the flywheel teeth and back, and hence for starting the engine as well. There are several reasons for failure: breakage or short circuit of the winding, deformation or burning of relay nodes. Each of these reasons leads to the fact that you start to either repair it, or buy a new part. However, it is worth remembering that if a click is heard when turning the key, the starter relay is working properly, if not, it is time to change it.
