The guide sleeve of the piston, which moves and forms, together with the cylinder head, a cavity for the next working cycle, is the clutch guide tube. It is exposed regularly to hot gases. The conditions of the guide tube usage

Moving inside the tube, the piston exerts significant pressure on the working surface of the tube. In its upper part, a rupture of the oil film occurs, which provokes boundary friction. In addition, the combustion products undergo electrochemical corrosion at high temperatures. As a result, vibrations occur in the radial direction. This leads to wear and destruction of the tube, as well as the walls of the block. Considering the above, high requirements are imposed on such products. The tubes must have greater wear resistance, strength and rigidity of the walls, as well as the landing bands.
