Muffler Metalcaucho brand Rubber Buffer, silencer is a technical rubber element that is fixed at the mounting points of the muffler and brackets on the body. A buffer is needed to dampen vibrations and ensure smooth movement of the exhaust tract when passing bumps and turns during the movement of the vehicle.

There are several materials and additional components for buffers:

1. rubber;
2. polyurethane;
3. metal amplifiers (for truck exhaust systems).

Some buffers are equipped with metal hooks; they can be made of soft or hard rubber (depending on the weight of the exhaust system).

The functions of the silencer rubber buffer

On vehicles of different classes, there are several suspension points for the muffler, at least 6: in the front, center and rear of the vehicle. If necessary, in some places additional muffler buffers are added for better damping of suspension vibrations and vibrations from the exhaust tract.

Premature drying, damage and deformation of the airbags can lead to frequent maintenance of the exhaust suspension system. If parts break, damage to the muffler itself and body elements is possible (the spare part will begin to bounce off the road surface and beat against the bottom of the body).
