FAST brand Sensor Ring, ABS are installed on the hubs, drive shafts or brake discs. They are round in shape. Therefore, the setting diameter must always be as precise as possible. ABS rings are distinguished by their teeth, as well as the gaps between them. Such products act as mating parts required for the speed sensor. They improve the recording of speed, or changes in the speed of the wheels on which they are installed. With a constant alternation of teeth, as well as the space between them, at the moment of rotation of the wheels, the magnetic field in the ABS sensor changes. The result is the induction of the corresponding sinusoidal alternating current. The frequency of this parameter depends on the wheel speed and is estimated by the control unit.

The usage of the ABS sensor rings

ABS rings are made of high quality steel. A protective coating is provided on their surface. To ensure perfect fit as well as function, the ABS rings are checked using a machine to measure the corresponding coordinates. ABS rings are an essential component in the functioning of the braking system. During dismantling, the coating and material may deform. ABS rings cannot be used more than once. Otherwise, an electronics error will occur directly in the brake system.
