The functionality of a control valve

The MEAT & DORIA brand Control Valve, fuel quantity (common rail system) is represented by a vacuum valve. Although the general structure of the device is a body with this very valve, as well as with a spring and a membrane. It has three holes. Two - for the output of fuel, the third - for supply to the intake manifold. As the engine revs up, fuel consumption rises significantly. As a result, a vacuum is created in the third output. It collects the spring and lifts the membrane. The valve in the fuel quantity valve opens slightly. With sufficient pressure, the check valve directs fuel into the tank through a special return hose.
