The cover regulates the optimal pressure in the system under a certain engine-operating mode by bleeding air when there is an excessive build-up of pressure.

Any engine design has a cooling system. It can be airy or have a "water jacket" of the block. The cooling element in the "jacket" is antifreeze or antifreeze. The usage of the radiator cap

The automotive engine cooling system has an important element - a radiator. The radiator is cooled to the optimum operating temperature of the technical fluid circulating through the system. The radiator neck has a cover. The cover ensures the circulation of the coolant through the cooling system.

When the engine temperature rises above the permissible value, the first to check for tightness is the radiator and the serviceability of the cover. If there are cracks, chips or deformation on its inner side, you need to buy a new one and replace it.
