The operation of a service brake valve

A spool is installed in the valve body, which is acted upon by a spring; a screw regulates the preload force. Under the action of the spring force, the spool moves to the right (according to the scheme), the belt on the spool blocks the channel for the movement of fluid. Pressure from the control line acts on the opposite end of the spool, under the influence of this pressure the spool moves to the left (according to the scheme), tearing off the channel for the fluid flow. In the absence of pressure in the piston cavity, the spool of the brake valve will block the flow area under the action of the spring, the liquid will not be able to flow out of the rod cavity of the cylinder, the rod will remain in place.
