As with the brake pedal, a sensor of the same type is installed on the clutch pedal. Simply put, this is a kind of limit switch, or as the people call it a frog, which tracks only two positions: the pedal is pressed (contact is closed) and the pedal is not pressed (contact is open). The conditions of the clutch control switch usage

You have to focus only on the behavior of the car, namely at the time of gear shifting. This is especially noticeable when, during a downshift, for example, from 3rd to 2nd, if the revs are high, engine braking occurs and the car literally "pokes its nose" as if braking hard. To make sure that the sensor is 100% operational, while driving, downshift and drop the clutch abruptly.
