The gearbox is one of the most important components in any car. During operation, this unit generates noise and vibration, which are transmitted to the body and frame of the machine. This is felt especially in cars with manual transmissions. In order to reduce the level of vibrations and remove unnecessary hum, a special support or pillow is installed on the gearbox. It is located at the point where the box is attached to the frame and acts as a shock absorber.

This part is made of hard rubber and metal, as well as from other materials that can seal the automatic transmission mount, providing a more reliable installation.
