The crankcase is the bottom of the cylinder block of an automobile engine. The oil filter is its lower part, a thin-walled reservoir with a drain hole, a screw plug, in which the lubricant is located. Thanks to him, the oil does not splash while the vehicle is moving, it is reliably protected from dust, dirt and liquids.

Until recently, the TOPRAN brand Hydraulic Filter Set, automatic transmission oil filter was a part that was easy to clean, flush and reuse. But modern high-tech transmissions require new solutions, including perfectly clean oil in the gearbox, which a simple metal mesh cannot provide. For this, non-separable filter elements are used that cannot be cleaned and repaired.

The usage of the hydraulic filter set

Some modern automakers have already found a way out by creating gearboxes in which neither oil nor filters need to be changed. But if you are not the owner of such a car, you should pay attention to the condition of the fluid in the gearbox, regularly change it and the filter element in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. It is not worth saving on this, since dirt and solid impurities can damage the cylinder walls and other parts.
