The operation of the door release cable
The MAXGEAR brand Cable, door release can be of different lengths, depending on the make and model of the car, and the design of the lock mechanism. It passes inside the door, being placed in a casing or tube, inside which it does its work by moving. Inside this casing, the manufacturer can fill in silicone or other grease in order to prevent the formation of condensation (since freezing of condensate is a common problem of part failure). But this condition is optional. Its end parts are made in the form of hooks or loops for engaging with a handle and a lock.
