Typically, the intake air temperature sensor is installed in the intake manifold housing. Its task is obvious - to register the temperature of the intake air. The data received by the MAGNETI MARELLI brand Sender Unit, intake air temperature is processed by the fuel system ECU. Such control is necessary to maintain the required ratio of the components of the fuel-air mixture for stable engine operation. The volume of air directly depends on its temperature.
