This bearing is designed to secure the shafts in the gearbox housing and ensure its free rotation. Allows you to maintain the alignment of the shafts, even with heavy loads, which are transmitted by torque from the engine. The outer cage is pressed into the seat of the gearbox housing, and the inner cage is pressed onto the shaft.
The functionality of the manual transmission bearing
Depending on the model, several bearings are used in the gearbox, two for one shaft. A tapered roller bearing is used at one end and a ball bearing at the other.
