The installation of reversing lights is mandatory for any type of transport, including trucks and cars with trailers and semi-trailers. One of the main functions of reversing lights is to illuminate the way when driving back at night. The second function is a warning one, signaling that the driver is stopping or moving backwards. The reversing lights turn on automatically in a fraction of a second when the driver shifts into reverse gear or when the vehicle is in reverse. The reversing lights work only when the ignition is on, in automatic mode, or when they are turned on manually.

The design of a reversing light

The shape of the HELLA brand Reverse Light, as well as its design, depending on the preferences of the manufacturer, may be different, since there are no standards for them, however, their installation on a car and trailers of any type is mandatory. Where the reversing lights should be located is not specified in the law, so you can install them on your trailer as you wish. The materials from which reversing lights are made, as well as the types of these lighting devices, can also be very different: xenon or tungsten. Sometimes reversing lights can be regular fog lights.
