This leads to problems with the operation of the power unit. The main cause of wear is the location of the injector holder seals in the manifold, or the cylinder head. It is about working at high temperatures. This is fraught with loss of elasticity of the seals. First, the lower seals suffer. The upper ones were more fortunate in this regard. They are cooled in the fuel rail when fuel is supplied.

The operation of injector holder seal

To replace the FEBI BILSTEIN brand Seal, injector holder, the old worn product is pulled together. If this fails by hand, use a sharp object. When the worn rubber band is removed, put on the seal again. It is pre-lubricated with oil from the outside. In this case, attention should be paid to the installation of the fuel sprayer. Damage to the seal often leads to a violation of tightness. This is fraught with ignition of gasoline. Among the signs by which faulty seals are detected, experts distinguish gasoline leakage, as well as air leakage. The latter is fraught with depletion of the corresponding fuel-air mixture. Gasoline leakage is manifested by trickles, drops or spots.
