Halogen lamps with incandescent filaments have been replaced by gas-discharge xenon lamps, which consume less energy, but at the same time shine much brighter and more intensely, despite the fact that the service life of xenon lamps is several times longer than that of halogen lamps. Now more and more often you can find car owners using xenon lamps in standard optics or fog lamps, but their installation requires additional equipment, namely ignition units (ballasts), which will "ignite" the lamps. All BOSCH brand Bulb, by their design, tend to fade and shine less intensely over time; therefore, it is recommended strongly to replace them exclusively in pairs in order to eliminate uneven light flux.

The usage of the bulb
