The ingress of moisture into the auto-air conditioner system is extremely dangerous, since water, under the influence of low temperatures, turns into ice, which clogs the lines. To remove moisture in a timely manner, a special filter drier, or receiver, is installed in the high-pressure lines. Its main function is to absorb water accidentally entering the system.
