The oil cooler consists of heat pipes and plates for circulating heated oil. It is inside this device that the lubricant is cooled to a safe temperature. There are systems with natural and artificial cooling. The latter is equipped with an additional turbine, which creates a powerful air flow for better cooling. Thanks to the optimized radiator design and efficient piping system, stagnation is avoided and used oil is completely drained if necessary.

Thanks to this, the service life of the engine increases, the oil does not lose its viscosity, the pressure in the system remains normal. The principles of the oil cooler

During operation, the oil cooler and its tubes can wear out and fail. Small particles, dust and other contaminants are clogged into the honeycomb, which significantly reduces heat transfer. Therefore, periodically clean the system for more efficient cooling.

The need to replace the radiator may be indicated by thickening of the lubricant and the appearance of a characteristic plaque on the wall of the expansion tank. Operating your vehicle with a worn-out oil cooler can cause engine damage.
