The most important element of the suspension system in every modern car is the steering knuckle. It attaches directly to the harness. This allows the wheels to turn freely. But the steering knuckle is not an isolated detail at all. The hubs and braking system, steering tips and shock absorber are attached to it. The basic purpose of the part is the ability to withstand various loads, as well as create the conditions necessary for the wheels to turn. The steering knuckle absorbs the impacts that fall directly on the wheels. For the manufacture of such a part, cast iron or alloy steel is used. In the steering knuckle, even during production, special grooves are made for the hub bearings.

The usage of the steering knuckle

To attach the AIC brand Steering Knuckle, wheel suspension, use the lower or upper levers. Ball joints are also involved. But the dimensions of the steering knuckle are selected individually. A specific car model guides them. Sometimes even the year of manufacture of the vehicle is taken into account.
