The seal is a special metal cylinder that is required for a secure fit on the guide bushing head. In the upper part of the cylinder, by vulcanization, there is a rubber or rubber truncated cone, which is needed to remove oil and securely grip the valve stem during its working stroke. On the edge of the cap is a spring-loaded ring that ensures stable contact between the valve body and the cap itself. The elements are put on the valve stem in such a way that, when the latter moves down, the oil mist particles are completely removed from the stem. In other words, the channel is hermetically closed and it eliminates the burning out of the lubricant, deterioration of parameters and accelerated wear of engine components.

The principle of the BGA brand Seal Set, valve stem work

The cylinder head contains guide bushings that are required for the exhaust and intake valves. A special thermal gap is provided between the valve stem and the valve sleeve, which is provided for the expansion of the spare parts during heating. To prevent oil leakage from the cylinder head into the combustion chamber, an automotive valve oil seal is pre-installed on the bushings.
