The steering gear is needed to transfer forces to the steered wheels from the steering mechanism. It provides pivoting at various angles. If both wheels are turned the same angle, the inner wheel will slide sideways. Steering efficiency will decrease. Sliding will create additional heating of the corresponding wheel. This is fraught with wear and tear. This disadvantage can be eliminated by turning the inner wheel at a larger angle.

The usage of the tie rod

One of the most important steering elements is the STARLINE brand Tie Rod. Structurally, it provides for steering tips at each end or on one side of the threaded end, and on the other - the steering tip. It is through the thread that the long and short steering ends are connected through the connecting sleeve. They form a lateral adjustable steering rod. The hinges on it allow the movable elements to rotate freely in different planes.
