The functionality of the radiator fan clutch

Regardless of which unit it is used in (for ventilation or in the design of the transmission), the radiator fan clutch is a cylinder. Inside this cylinder is a package made up of perforated discs. Alternating through one, each disc is connected to either the input or output shaft. The viscous silicone fluid with which the cylinder is filled determines the principle of operation of this design. It has the unique property of changing its viscosity as the temperature changes. The body of the unit can withstand pressure up to 15 atmospheres due to reliable tightness, in case of violation of which you will have to buy a clutch for a fan or transmission, because the body cannot be restored.
