The flex hose of the exhaust system is made of elastic material and cuts into the muffler pipe. Such a sintered clutch is used to reduce noise and vibration that inevitably occur during engine operation. A specific car model may have its own type and design of the flex hose; in some designs of the exhaust system, it is adjacent to the catalyst. This part is installed both vertically and horizontally with a mandatory overlap on the pipe.
