The construction of the cable

The design of the LPR brand Cable, parking brake is quite simple. Steel cable inside a polyethylene sheath at the ends with attachments to the rest of the parking brake. The sheath protects the cable from external influences that are aggressive for steel - water, salt. The shell on the brackets is attached to the body. Inside the sheath, the cable is lubricated with a special grease. When tightening the parking lever, the cable moves inside the sheath and transfers the force to the brake mechanism.
