Passenger car transmissions have a mechanical part that engages and disengages the clutch. It is called a clutch release bearing. The release bearing is the link between the clutch and the drive. It is on this bearing that the fork with the lever is attached. At the end of the latter, a cable or lever is attached, which leads to the clutch pedal. The transmission of torque is carried out by pressing the pedal.
