The ELRING brand Seal, oil pump is necessary to ensure a tight fit of the accessory cover to its housing. Loss of tightness entails a decrease in oil pressure in the system. The operation of the oil pump seal
It is necessary to interfere with the operation of the oil pump much less often than other components. This means that you rarely have to disassemble it and change the seal. As a result, the deformable areas of the seal may not match the shape of the new cover, which will lead to a leak.
