The latter holds the brushes in the required working position. The brushes are pressed tightly against the manifold assembly, providing a constant supply of current while the armature rotates. Starter brushes are rightfully recognized as a responsible component. They come in two parts as standard. The first is the brush itself, made of a conductive soft material. The second is a flexible conductor. It provides an even supply of current. The brush is a graphite material parallelepiped. It conducts current.
