Passenger car transmissions have a mechanical part that engages and disengages the clutch. It is called a clutch release bearing. Currently, there are two types of such a mechanical part: hydraulic and roller. The latter uses a rigid connection, but the former uses the force of the hydraulic clutch system. Regardless of the model and make of the car, the clutch always works the same. The release bearing is the link between the clutch and the drive. It is on this bearing that the fork with the lever is attached.
