It provides a smooth connection between the engine and transmission, eliminating the rapid wear of other elements of the vehicle.

The operational principle of SACHS brand Clutch Release Bearing

The release bearing is the link between the clutch and the drive. It is on this bearing that the fork with the lever is attached. At the end of the latter, a cable or lever is attached, which leads to the clutch pedal. The transmission of torque is carried out by pressing the pedal.
