An element in a car such as a crankshaft is responsible for transferring combustion energy to the wheels, converting it into torque energy. Sliding occurs through the crankshaft journals, and between the journal and the bearing there is a thin film that minimizes friction. The material o the crankshaft bearing

The main crankshaft bearing often consists of a metal alloy, of 2 or 3 metals, multi-layer (2-5-layer), over 2.5 mm thick (modern models are thinner, older ones are thicker). Has a cylindrical body bearing, lubrication groove, lubrication hole, bearing lock. The main bearing of the main crankshaft is usually steel.
