The optimal solution was to insert synthetic double membranes into plastic housings, make them easy to remove and change with every oil change. Further modernization of filters was associated with their adaptation in size (different for SUVs and cars), there were main lines, magnetic for screening out metal particles, with different mounts. Almost every model has its own filters with variations. Remember that not replacing a clogged filter in time can damage the entire automatic transmission. Actually, the kit is used for such needs.
