In most cases, it is a tube that is located next to the diaphragm in the part of the assembly where the refrigerant enters the evaporator.

The key purpose of this auto element is to maintain a certain temperature in the evaporator. This task is achieved by regulating the amount of refrigerant that enters the evaporator.

If the temperature at the outlet of the part increases, the valve opens, starting up more refrigerant. When the temperature drops, the valve closes, reducing the amount of incoming fluid.
