Hollow Screw, charger - 989-12-001.001 FA1

The hollow screw is used for threaded connection of turbocharger pipes with a spherical bushing. Installed with swivel nipples. Screws differ in length, diameter, thread pitch, key size, flange diameter, they can have a full or incomplete thread on the rod, and a guide (cone) at the end without a thread.

The material of the charger hollow screw

Depending on the operating conditions, you can choose products from various grades of steel: stainless or carbon, and with various types of anti-corrosion surface treatment: zinc, zinc with chromating, dacrometization and others. Products that are coated or made of stainless steel can be used in environments exposed to chemically aggressive substances. For the production of a FA1 brand Hollow Screw, chargerw, carbon steel is used also, to which a special protective coating is applied - zinc with yellow chromating. Thanks to the coating, such a fastener element is able to withstand metal corrosion, which is formed in cases where a metal product is operated in conditions of high humidity.
