The operation of the stub axle

The stub axle not only contributes to turning the car in a given direction by forming the angle of the wheels, but also softens the forces from the impact of the wheels of the car on various irregularities that come across on the road. The part is made of durable steel with high dimensional and shape accuracy.

In the process of long-term use, the action of high loads during the movement of the car, due to the wear of the surface layers of the metal under the influence of friction forces, various deviations from the correct operation of the stub axle appear, which causes an increase in the backlash of the front wheels.
