The usage of the door footwell light

If the car has a "polite light" system (with which the car's interior lights dim when the car is closed and light up when the doors are opened), then you can connect to it so that the backlight works the same way. Another option is to install interior lighting with an on / off button. Well, the last, most “advanced” installation option is the combination of “polite light” with the ability to turn it manually on using a three-position switch: turn it on, turn it off, turn it on when the doors are opened (as on the ceiling of the main interior lighting).
