Good quality! Super fast delivery. Thank you a lot :)

The turbocharging pressure sensor is an important component of a turbocharged engine. The power performance of the motor depends on its correct operation.

Turbocharging is designed to supply air to the cylinders using a special supercharger to increase power and torque by increasing the amount of fuel mixture in the cylinders. The sensor allows you to monitor the air pressure in the system and helps to timely identify problems with the turbo boost.

The principle of the pressure sensor work

The turbocharged engine monitors the BOSCH brand Sensor, boost pressure and transmits the received data to the engine control unit, which calculates the required boost for the current operating mode of the unit. The boost pressure sensor, together with an intercooler and a compression ratio regulator, prevents knocking.

Manufacturers use two technologies for manufacturing sensors, dividing them into micromechanical and thick-film ones. The most modern and sophisticated sensors are of the first type; they are also used in most vehicles. They are based on a chip that uses silicon and a diaphragm with 4 transistors.
