Low metal content pads. The steel content in such blocks is not more than 30%. In addition, such pads are characterized by an almost complete absence of vibration. The only drawback is the emission of black dust that forms during the operation of the pads.

Non-metallic pads - pads consisting of inclusions of non-ferrous metals and organics. They also have excellent performance, but their price is significantly higher. The main advantage over low metal content pads is the absence of black metal dust.

Semi-metallic pads are pads containing about 50% metal. These pads have better braking effect than the other two types of pads. They are used on heavy trucks and new cars. But, during their work, a strong vibration occurs.
