The principle of the sensor usage

The sensor itself crashes into the exhaust manifold. A hole is drilled, a thread is cut and the sensor is screwed in. Typically, the thread is tapered for better sensor fixation. When installing the sensor in turbo motors, you must try to prevent chips from getting inside the manifold, because they can damage the turbine. To do this, it is best to drill and thread with the engine running.
