Thermostat Housing - V40-99-0038 VEMO

The thermostat is a reliable device, but sometimes it also fails. A malfunction of the VEMO brand Thermostat Housing can cause the use of poor-quality coolant or its untimely replacement. Scale or corrosion appears on the parts, and the thermostat stops performing its functions, and this, in turn, leads to engine breakdown. The thermostat housing is a part of the engine cooling system, a kind of tee, in the center of which antifreeze flows are distributed. The conditions of the thermostat housing usage

For normal operation of a car engine and prolongation of its service life, it is necessary that the coolant temperature is more than 70 degrees and less than 97 degrees Celsius. This temperature in cars is controlled by a thermostat located in the branch pipe. As a rule, the temperatures - lower and higher - are different for different brands of cars; therefore, the thermostat must be used with the appropriate melting point. For the manufacture of this part, copper and brass are used.
