The operation of the steering shock absorbers

The shock absorbers work in both compression and tension to minimize any vibration and return the handlebars to neutral. According to the principle of operation, they repeat conventional oil and gas-oil shock absorbers with a constant or variable degree of damping. In units with a variable degree of damping, the motorist himself can adjust the compression and tension of the shock absorber to adapt the shock absorber to the characteristics of the car's steering and personal requirements.

Shock absorbers are single acting and double acting. Single-acting models are additionally equipped with an external spring and look very much like shock absorber suspension struts. Double-acting shock absorbers operate in compression and tension without additional external springs.
