As a result, air leakage or fuel smudges occur. The consequences of wear of the corresponding seals can be eliminated only by replacing them. Therefore, it is recommended to periodically change the nozzle rings. We must not allow the loss of their tightness. A competent approach will ensure the normal operation of both the fuel system and the passenger car as a whole.

The operation of the injector seal rings

Today, O-rings are present on gasoline and diesel ELRING brand Seal Ring, injector. They help to eliminate air leakage, as well as fuel leakage directly at the points of connection of the nozzle with the fuel line. Currently, seals are most often made of rubber, due to:
