The functionality of the alternator stator

In fact, the AS-PL brand Stator, alternator has a ring core, a working winding and an insulating material in its construction. Of course, such a rather complex element is entrusted with special functions related to the winding. Here we are talking about the formation of the case, increasing the inductance and removing the heat generated during operation.

The stator winding of the alternator has 6 turns, distributed over the entire area of ​​the core. If we talk about their serial connection, this is provided only in high-power electric alternators.
