The functionality of the gasket

The main task of the gasket is to prevent the ingress of fuel combustion products into the valve space and the engine compartment. Untimely replacement or burnout due to overheating reduces the conditions for safe car operation. The presence of gases can lead to ignition of elements and assemblies of the engine compartment.
