The data received by the MEYLE brand Sender Unit, intake air temperature is processed by the fuel system ECU. Such control is necessary to maintain the required ratio of the components of the fuel-air mixture for stable engine operation. The volume of air directly depends on its temperature. By means of a temperature sensor, the ECU receives the necessary primary data on the amount of incoming air and calculates the amount of fuel required for injection.
