The PRASCO brand Bonnet locks protect the anti-theft system elements located under the bonnet, that is, in the engine compartment. The main task of mechanical bonnet locks is to prevent unauthorized access to the engine compartment. The bonnet lock is usually in two parts. The control part recognizes the control signal from an external electronic device or the turn of the key in the lock cylinder, and by moving the cable inside the casing transfers the impact to the lock part, blocking the standard lock or engaging with a specially installed metal "loop".

In addition to protecting the parts located under the bonnet, the bodywork performs the following functions:

1. Noise canceling. During operation, the car engine makes a loud sound. On the inside of the body cover, a noise-insulating layer is installed, which makes it possible to reduce the sound volume of the operating power unit in the passenger compartment.
2. Aerodynamic. Installation of additional air collectors, changing the shape of the body element, reduce aerodynamic resistance. Due to this, with the same fuel consumption, the speed characteristics of the vehicle increase.
