The functionality of the exhaust system holder

Each car has a system for removing combustion products of the fuel-air mixture from the working cylinders of the power unit. The system consists of several parts and runs from the exhaust manifolds to the muffler through the entire machine under the floor. The attachment of the exhaust pipe to the underbody is essential for the durability of this section. This is because the body of the car during movement has an amplitude of vibration, which is not a constant value, since it depends on the quality of the road surface and the efficiency of the suspension. Due to these vibrations, the exhaust pipe is subjected to mechanical stress. Therefore, the attachment of the muffler must be reliable, but not rigid.
