An electric current is generated in a moving part. The rotor consists of several elements: a shaft, an alkaline unit, a core, a field winding, a collector and slip rings.

Consisting of several sheets of electrical steel, the core is mounted on a shaft or in a cylindrical sleeve. The ends of the winding are attached to the plates that make up the manifold, and it is connected to the shaft through an insulating sleeve. The conditions of the rotor usage

As you can see, the structure of the rotor unit consists of several elements and each of them affects the operation of the car. If even the smallest part fails, the generator may need to be repaired.

A common problem in the generator system is the weakness of the brush assembly, which is responsible for supplying and removing electrical current. If its operation is disrupted, problems arise with lighting, the operation of sensors, and a decrease in voltage in the network. Therefore, the anchor assembly and all other components of the generator need to be checked and serviced regularly.
